METSI LODGE IS A RARE AND PRECIOUS PLACE
There are places so perfect that we would like to keep quiet about them, and to keep their secrets jealously hidden, in the midst of happy memories and bursts of laughter. It's Catherine and Geoffroy's generosity which prompted us to come out in the open (out of the Bush, in this case). We owe them that for the quality of their welcome at Metsi Lodge. Metsi Lodge is a rare and precious place. There is the reserve, of course, which is breathtaking. But there is also, and above all, everything else, which makes Metsi Lodge a magical setting to live a unique experience. Catherine and Geoffroy's smile. Their constant attention to details. Their kindness. Their cheerfulness. And this rare talent to have managed to share all these qualities with their team. I'm sorry I've said too much already. We want to keep this secret to ourselves. But do not hesitate. Push the door. You will find it easily. Turn left after the Giraffes (and just behind the herd of Zebras.

MICK JAGGER'S CHOSEN LODGE
GREATEST WEEK EVER!!
Thank you SO much all of the team at Metsi!! We had the most blissful week and just couldn’t have been better looked after. The lodge is really beautiful with gorgeous rooms and is in the best position in the park with a dam just in front of the dining table so always lots of animals around and we saw 3 cheetahs, 5 hunting lions, a family of rhino and a host of other game on the plains right outside the front gate of the lodge. The staff couldn’t be more brilliant and blew the socks off anything I’ve ever experienced in a 5* hotel. You can go on drives and have meals whenever you want so you never have to leave a sighting to rush home for dinner. The reserve really is a total treasure with everything you want to see in a beautiful environment at a fraction of the cost of the likes of Sabi Sands. If you have the opportunity to go here DO IT!! We’ll definitely be back

WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AT METSI LODGE...
... and our overseas family were blown away by the experience. Your staff were friendly and helpful and were a pleasure to deal with. Ellard was superb, your chef was great and really assisted where the vegetarian visitor was concerned so that was much appreciated. Our game-viewing was spectacular and we saw tons of wonderful sightings thanks to the reserve and Ellard’s skills. We had 6 drives and saw cheetah 5 times, lion twice and elephant and rhinos numerous times. We saw one cheetah kill and one attempted lion kill so it was really fantastic. We will definitely be back in Welgevonden. Your game viewing vehicle was fantastic and this may seem strange to make mention of, but it was a luxury ride each time, as I have experienced some really uncomfortable rides in the past where you are exhausted and shook up by the end of a drive. Thanks so much! All in all a wonderful and memorable trip so thanks to all for the efforts.

A PURELY MAGICAL EXPERIENCE
If you want a purely magical experience in Africa with your loved ones I cannot recommend Metsi Lodge more highly. Owners and staff make you feel a part of the family and the beauty of the reserve and the lodge is unparalleled. It is the most incredible place for the African-nature enthusiast.
