Booking Confirmations

​

• Bookings are only confirmed once a 50% deposit for the total amount due has been received.

• The outstanding amount is due at the latest 30days before arrival at the lodge. The lodge reserves the right to cancel any booking that ha not been paid in full 29 days prior to the guests' arrival. In this case, guests will not be indemnified for the cancelation, and no refund will be provided.

• For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival date, the full amount is due immediately.

Cancelations Policy

​

• For cancelations 30 days or less prior to arrival, the full booking amount is due, and no refunds will be provided.

• For cancelations between 30 and 45 days prior to arrival, the deposit (50% of total booking amount) will not be refunded.

• Deposits (minus banking fees) will be refunded for cancelations 45 days or more prior to arrival.

 

Arrival and Departure Times

• Pick-up from West Gate on the first day can be arranged at any time from 14.30 pm 

• Guests must depart the lodge at 11.00 am at the latest on the last day 

• Earlier arrivals and/or later departures may be arranged for an additional fee, with prior agreement from the lodge management.

​

Self-Catering :

 

• Exclusive use of the lodge,

• 2 game drives/ full day (1 game drive on day of arrival & 1 on day of departure)

• Transfers between the Welgevonden Reserve West Gate and Lodge on arrival and departure (one transfer for the entire party of guests - additional transfers can be arranged at additional cost)

• Chef and housekeeping staff.

Full Board:

​

• Exclusive use of the lodge,

• All meals, snacks on game drives and soft drinks

• 2 game drives/ full day (1 game drive on day of arrival & 1 on day of departure)

• Transfers between the Welgevonden Reserve West Gate and Lodge on arrival and departure (one transfer for the entire party of guests - additional transfers can be arranged at additional cost)

• Welgevonden Game Reserve conservation levies

• Additional transfers between West Gate and the Lodge

• Road or Air transfers to /from Welgevonden Game Reserve

• Additional safaris

• Safaris on foot

• Alcoholic drinks

• Meals & drinks for the Self Catering option

 

A minimum 2 nights' stay is required - Rates may change at any time during the year.
